Kind of interesting, a wireless electronic shifter (Bluetooth and Ant+) that lets you programme between 7 and 12 speed cassettes so usable on just about anything. MTB shifter for now, but road coming.

But, the real game changer (!) will be their next step - to integrate this into both AI and cloud control. Now, I don't know about you, but I've lost count of the number of times I've been out riding my bike, maybe grinding up a hill, and thought to myself "What I could really do with is an AI in the cloud to shift my gears for me right at this moment". Bizarrely, they are looking to add AI and cloud before they add compatibility with ebike batteries. Seems like some slightly weird priorities there. Anyway, according to road.cc, the manufacturer has been around since 1951 and made parts for major brands, so it's not a pie-in-the-sky tech startup. Be interesting to see if this does take off (without the AI).

I’ve not watched this video past the first 10 seconds but this seems to be pretty well here, via AliExpress or pandapodium
