Both ICE and Catrike do holders...

ICE:

Both fit to carrier / mudguard mounts.

Alternatively a "P" clip mounted to the rack fittings will give an upper and lower mount to solidly fix the flaf pole (usually 6 mm fibre glass kite rod)

Nice and tidy I like that!

Which reminds me, I need to redo my big japanese-style one...

Helen does oriental.... Flags and banners

I made that mistake too. Carbon fibre isn't up to the job. Fibre glass is far better.
The flag's fine, the pole was straight-laid hollow carbon and splintered when I hung a blinky from the top as well... :-[

There is a kite shop in Garratt Lane, which really is between Croydon and South Kensington by some routes. It is on the eastern side between Earlswood Station and Burntwood Lane. last time I was in there, quite some years ago now, they sold everything that you would need.

Now he says, after the Zombies have been and gone!  I'll probably have a look there, since kites are cool anyway, so it won't do any harm!  It's not on my actual route, but it wouldn't be terribly difficult to divert that way for a change, and it would only add a bit onto the distance.  I know Garratt Lane since I used to live in Wandsworth, although I never noticed the shop, which isn't saying much, since I seem to be able to miss any number of interesting and useful things which I cycle past! :-\

The Bob has a suitable tube for flags already welded into the structure, so attaching them is easy.
Actually, it is rocket science.

Since I'm using my Bob Yak trailer more at the moment, I was wondering about replacing the flag that went awol a couple of moves back.

At night I'm OK, since it's almost as well lit as my bike, but during the day a short bit of rod with some sort of flappyness on the end may be a good idea.

Frankly, I just like the flamboyance of the things.

Why the computer on the trailer?

So the dog can see it?

I am not attaching a thong to my trailer, especially not that thong!
