the first one is complicated by it being a Planet X bike. So he's having to directly sue the insurers.

A clubmate of mine died in 2015 when his forks failed (Kinesis). This isn't a new problem - though I'm quite certain that weld failures have occurred on steel or alloy forks with similar results. https://www.bikeradar.com/news/kinesis-seeks-more-owners-in-ongoing-fork-recall/

Crikey, that first video is terrifying "I don't know how that got through their xray process"

Good brands that supposedly do quality checking, and the composite is full of molding flaws.
