Why is this team the subject of frequent negative comment on Sky Sports commentry?

Quite a few of their riders have been linked to drugs scandals.
Their team car is a Cadillac.
They are sponsored by a company that sells overpriced jeans.

And probably a few more reasons...

They changed their kit every day on the ToB. ::-)

Well, I mean they changed design.  I think all the other teams change their clothes, or else the final stage would be a pongy fungal mass :sick:

I think it is because they are seen as being different.

Which is not a bad thing, IMHO.

They are trying to bring a bit of F1 glamour to the pro circuit, and their team kit designs rock, again IMHO.

Now if they would charge sensible prices for the replica kit rather than £350 for shorts and a jersey, I would have a set, especially the black TOB kit.

161 Oscar Sevilla (Spa)                -fired from t mobile due to Operación Puerto
162 Tyler Hamilton (USA)             -caught for blood doping
163 Francisco Mancebo (Spa)       -quit big team when  Operación Puerto broke   
164 Enrique Gutierrez (Spa)          -linked to Operación Puerto
165 Victor Hugo Pena (Col)            -was in US Postal back in the day.  Never done for doping though
166 Freddy Rodriguez (USA)           
167 Glen Chadwick (NZl)               
168 Chris Baldwin (USA)

They also broke most of their sponsorship obligations. At one race the team was split over 3 different makes of bike and none of them were the official sponsor!
