Has apparently been 'let go' by Garmin. Don't know if he will retire but hats off to the chap for a long and impressive career. I hope British Cycling offer him a job. It would be a shocking waste not to use his extensive knowledge.

I think he has an engineering degree from Imperial or somewhere... Rob Hayles could come up with the mad ideas and Roger could develop them into something usable.  :thumbsup:

His degree is from Brunel.... Can't remember what exactly. Either way, he's a cyclist I've have always admired, who has maximised his talents. A great role model . I love to watch him in the Beyond the Peleton episodes covering Paris Roubaix, Inspirational!

And yes you are right. He's an ideal for BC, in the development squad.
