Yep, and I’m going to be checking it (as my box doesn’t flag up clashes with DMAX) out on the free account I signed up to on Discovery+ (my TV let me install the app, remarkably) that promises 30 days of catch-up of certain things, including I think the Giro.

ETA; Nope, subscription required, but I ponied up, as they do other races too.

DMAX seems to be a subscription channel on my virgin cable tv, hoping there’s an English alternative on S4C.

Anyone know if there's an english language replay/highlights on disccovery+?   I don't know how Discovery+ gets away with being so poor, with almost random thumbnails, with no clear indication as to exactly what they are, & no schedule table.  ::-)

Yep they do, they normally air a 1hr highlights show at about 8 or 9pm after each stage, you can't watch the highlights till it airs live. they also do some shorter highlights on demand, again appearing a bit later.

I generally find the 1hr highlights hit or miss, they're just bits of the live coverage stitched together with no extra narrative. often they'll just be the last hour of a stage, with zero storytelling of even the outline of the rest of the stage.

Edit: they also have full stage replays on demand for a decent time afterwards

I watch cycling on Eurosoport, via Virgin Media, channel 521 or 522.

Mrs Dan discovered that there’s a free trial of Discovery+ on her Prime subscription. So we watched the highlights on that.

The swoopy camera in a VR studio is all a bit different to the ITV4 aesthetic, isn’t it?

It's live on S4C right now, if that's of any help to anyone.
Admission.  I'm actually not that fussed about cake.

For clarity, is this a thread to discuss the race, or where to view the race? If only the later do we have a thread for the race ?

That looked like a filthy day out, but nice to watch!

The animated Giro logo is quite upsetting though.

I had to retune the Humax to find that channel. Mrs P is not impressed.

So apparently the big question is... why is Remco the only rider wearing leg warmers?   ;)

Fast racing from the start today , ages until something noteworthy stuck. Wonder if Remco is overdressed just to whip it all off later and try something on the wee little lump near the end - can’t see it to be fair… maybe he’s just cold

Did noone else notice Vlasov the sneakyfuknrussian or who ever it was going off towards the end of the TT wearing a buff or a burka or somesuch? Well covered up he was.

'parently Dainese was demoted.

Having deliberately given up the maglia rosa, not quite going according to plan for Remco atm; fortunate not to lose a chunk of time.
