My 4 yr old Philips one has just died (having been wheezing heavily for a year or so) it won't record but will play (sulkingly, best with discs it's recorded itself); or at least no players including itself recognise whatever digital drivel it's burnt on the disc.
Given the built in obsolescence of these things can anyone recommend a (preferably same make) replacement that is silver, is digital and HD ready (not bothered abour hard disc)
