London has a pavement parking ban?  You could have fooled me.  Some should tell the relevant authorities in Newham - they'd make a killing just on High Street North.

In the immediate vicinity of Larrington Towers a wheel on the pavement will earn you a ticket from Waltham Forest's Bottom Inspectors Park-o-Bots but go a hundred yards in one direction and you're only allowed to park on the pavement, not in the road.  Go two hundred the other way and two wheels on the pavement and two in the road is required.  Only on the west side of Larrington Gardens Road, mind.  On the east side it's strictly road-only.  Confused yet?
