Columbia is doing well too. Quite present.

I think the efforts made by the invited team(s) vindicate ASO's decision. Teams will try and do well where their audience is and I do not like the idea of a premiership of cycling so much. A mix bag works well.

Briefly saw a rider from AG2R at the front yesterday, didnt even realise they were in the Tour this year !
Hats off to Agritubel ( makers of Agricultural Pens - didnt realise cows could write ! )

Could today be a day for Millar in a break away ?

I agree that it has been an excellent tour so far.

Millar is too far up the GC to go for a breakaway now. Give it a few days and when he is >10 mins down, then it is breakaway time.

TBH it has had its moments, but I found the Giro much more interesting, but then again it is still only the first week.

Isn't it wonderful how continental companies sound so much more exotic?

"Agritubel" sound so much better than "Gush and Dent" - the UK equivalent (used to be at least)

Fassa Bortolo sounded so much better than Rugby Cement

I still miss the few rides (careful now!) I had in the Sauna Diana jersey (Dutch/Belgian border brothel!)

I wonder if the continentals lust after our jerseys - Halfords, etc in the same way?

I do occasionally see a barloworld van around locally and everyone knows what Avis does.

My facourite jersey this year is the Columbia one. Simple and a nice colour.

I like it too. Although I am not a big fan of red (my club colours though!), I like Barloworld too. And the old Liquigas.

Comments about the potential illegality of the frame.. If the commissaire can slide his BC membership card between the wheel and the frame then it is not faired as the frame does not overlap the wheel. Has to be very careful what size tyres he uses though ..

That article made me chuckle. Rants on about oval tubing internal cables and fully sliptreamed to make the bike cut through the wind, then they go and pop a chunky GPS on the stem

They could have thought that out a bit better?
