The "sale" of AUK kit seems to have moved online. Impsport's new website www.impsport.com is offering the yellow/purple kit and polo shirts at dramatically reduced prices. The savings might even be enough to overcome the natural preference for the "traditional" RWB colours!

Is this an indication of things to come for the club kit?

I'm a sucker for a bargain, and I love the 80s, so I've ordered a long sleeve top along with matching hat! Although, I must admit that I prefer the purple/yellow to the red/blue version.

Not that I'm aware of. I'm not sure how such a new design might come about either. Personally, I'd look at the Audax logo as well.

I thought the next redesign of kit was supposed to be for the 2011 PBP (the current one having appeared for the 2006 season); you may not like the current Jackson Pollock design but we are not blessed with the finances of Man Utd. It would be nice for the membership to see the new designs before they are decided on though...

What is the sizing like on Impsport's stuff? I was thinking of a retro CTC jersey, but it would be rude not to buy some vomit-coloured stuff at those prices... (I'm 38-40" chest, but since the stuff isn't italian I presume a M should do it?)

We've always found Impsport jerseys to be a bit of a snug fit, and Norfolk DA had a great deal of "squit" with an order a couple of years ago. Very few of the items supplied were big enough. Ours are sitting unused at the back of a wardrobe.

Pam P told the committee a couple of months ago that Impsport will readily exchange items that don't fit. I believe that the plan is for Impsport to become the contact for AUK stuff in the future, thus cutting out our middlewoman.

I would have gone for a large if I were a 38-40.

My kit arrived today: a long sleeve jersey, a gamex rain jacket and a matching cap. I must admit that I quite like it. It's so garish that you could wear it to a nu-rave disco!
