Done.  Quite easy.  Just connected the wires from one end of the tube to the chocolate connector and that is it.

OT but I am wondering why this topic is titled "son of" and not "child of" (or progeny, or offspring or ..)? (I realise "daughter of" i'n't going to get a look in).

Removed a 10-speed, long-cage, Campagnolo rear derailleiur (now for-sale) and replaced
it with a Daytona variant.
