Tim and I, who did the Arrows with iddu last year, have so far failed to convince our friends to ride 400km with us*. That's where you come in.
Who wants to join an Arrows team? Our plan is to ride Manchester-York via Gretna, up the A6 and down the LEL route to give us , or there's an [url=http://tinyurl.com/3a9lwdg]extended route (http://tinyurl.com/yhcmb7w[/url) if you're feeling fit. Is anybody up for this? Answers on a card asap please.
*believe me I've tried. I've just spent a week trying to convince someone as we rode all the way across France.

What time are you leaving Manc and ETA York?
-
Hi! We are a bit flexible with the start time, but early afternoon-ish, probably between 1-3PM. The idea is to arrive in York 23-24 hours later.
We could possibly start in the evening but I believe you would need to convince Bunbury to miss out on the York naked bike ride...

I'm very convincable, the thought of riding without padded shorts after c250 miles is not appealing.

Didn't they teach you at school that the shortest route is a straight line?

Unlike you, I didn't get the benefit of a French metric education. Over here we still measure distance in miles and gears in inches, which has a strange effect when combined with audax kilometers.

Bump. Other plans have come to naught. Last call, anyone?
-
You haven't mentioned a date - is it for the York Cycle show?
-
It is for the cycle show, so we'll be setting off Friday the 18th...

Good luck Greg, I hope that you've enjoyed your expedition in the land of garlic lovers.
