I've signed up for my '3 issues for £5' of BikesEtc.  :)

Thought the November (final in my trial) Cyclist has/had some interesting articles:  'no pain...gain!' (including crank length and knees), interview with Cav (apparently he likes the mag...), Ullapool - long road North (they need some help following gpx tracks?  ;) ), and the mysterious compliance issues of carbon frames (just stick a Brooks onnit?)...

Yay! Hope you enjoy it. We're still putting the finishing touches to issue 1 but I think it's looking good.

I love the fact that the cheapest bike of the three on review in the new issue of Cyclist is £9k. All the bikes in the BikesEtc review section added together are cheaper than that. We're a bit more practically minded than them - though we still have some very nice bikes.

I see it is being advertised on the back of Mr R's PC Pro magazine...

Didn't know that but good to see the company cross-promoting its own products. Wonder if there'll be an ad in the next issue of Viz.

I've signed up! Haven't had a regular magazine of any description in the last 10 years but 3 for a fiver was too good to miss . . .

Looking forward to the feature on "best saddlebags for a 1200km ride in France".

Already got that down on the plan for the August 2015 issue. Along with a ten-page feature on the Seven Axiom SLX.  ;)

IME with the odd publication, once the final printed version comes back, one almost doesn't want to look at it again for fear of spotting 'the typos that got away'...

Looking forward to my copy arriving on the mat...

I've already spotted a few things I'd like to change... But yes, no time to dwell on that - we're already well into issue 2, and even making a start on issues 3 and 4.

Otto, I spent the last seven years working on a weekly so I know how you feel.

Well it's landed! This morning and kudos to the company for using the Royal Mail to deliver it.

I haven't had a huge a mount of time to ingest the contents - actually I'd prefer a pastrami sarnie - but, speaking as a non-consumer of magazines in general, I have to say it makes pleasant reading. Well laid out, relevant to me and the balance of technical detail and storytelling is just about right.

Product detail is informative and strikes a nice balance between Aldi customers looking for something 'better' and visitors to places like Manchester's 'Bike Rooms' Pinarello dealer. In other words something for everyone.

Congrats on your hard work and good fortune to be able to work on something which will bring you job satisfaction in the long run.

I'll be keeping the subscription. Well done.

Mine was waiting for me on my arrival home this evening. I had a good read of the first half and enjoyed it enough to take itr before my computer to sign up for the 3 for a fiver offer. I will keep it going for the next 6 as well I think.

Well done

Thanks for a copy of the first issue. Mine's recently arrived.
I've only flicked through the magazine but I've noticed one of 'the typos that got away'....
It's the name of the winner of the 'Best of five' £1,400 carbon road bikes; the Canyon.
