I couldn't spot it!

Good!

It's not something that would instantly leap out at you, which is why it slipped through (more a case of over-correction than anything). But when you spot it, it becomes irritatingly obvious. I'm annoyed it's happened, especially in the first issue, but we move on. It doesn't look great but on the other hand, I like to think it's a reflection of our high standards that there are no more serious errors than that.

He clearly has good taste in hats!  ;D

I've signed up for my '3 issues for £5' of BikesEtc.

Where is that offer?

I eventually found the typo (but would have missed had I not known), if it's any consolation I think the BikesEtc version is better.   ;)

Mine was on a flyer with the Cyclist; but looks like it's here:  http://bikesetc.co.uk/subscribe/

Try this link instead:

https://dennis.subscribeonline.co.uk/bikesetc

and enter the code D1411P (for print only) or D1411B (for print + digital) and you'll get 3 issues for £5 plus a load of PowerBar energy gubbins* thrown in as well.

*PowerBar Performance Energy Blends, to give them their proper name. 12 of them, worth £19.20, apparently.

I went for the version with the download so I should get it electronically.
I must get out on one on the rides anyway.

Ah! does that explain why they devoted so much space to the mag?? :)

I work in Fitzroy Square at the top of Charlotte Street...

Presumably so, though it's nothing to do with us - probably the marketing department earning their keep.

Not available AFAICS earlier today in the biggish Smiths at the back of the Plaza on Oxford St - given how many other cycling mags they've got, including two different months of C+, one of your marketing folk should give them a nudge.

Unless they've sold every copy they got in, of course.

Picked up a copy of issue 1 at the larger Smith's landside in the South Terminal here. Not had time to look at it yet.

Issue 2 is excellent - and I'm loving the quality feel of the magazine. And the correct result in the Winter Bikes test!

I agree, issue 2 is well readable.

I like the testing format used by the magazine.
