Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs.

Enjoyed it, but I'm about 30 years too old for it - it's definitely one for young kids only, not their parents too. Some laugh-out-loud moments, but it doesn't engage you on an emotional level in the same way as the true classic kids' movies - Snow White, Toy Story etc.

Last night was "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo",  I've not read the book so can't compare the two. An effective, well acted thriller and the leading lady is Hawt!   :P
I'm just in from seeing that. Really enjoyed it. Especially when

I was thinking about going to see that tonight while Pingu & Bob were out seeing Jethro Tull, but it was on too late...

I saw Moon last night. Like Andy says:

Ver' good.  Parallels to Silent Running and 2001 are obvious.  Gerty rocks.  :)

it's very good. Certainly at the start it reminded me of 2001, and to some extent at the start The Shining. Impressive what it's possible with, essentially, one actor.
What on earth am I doing here on this beautiful day?! This is the only life I've got!!

Yes, top class SF.  It had an air of 'Solyaris',

LindaG, you might want to edit your last post to include spoiler tags!

This was on Channel 4 last night.  I don't like this sort of film.  Too scary.  Mrs G loved it.  After it finished I warned her that if she tried any funny joke like trying to imitate a zombie or scare me in bed that I might strike out in response  ;D

I've not watched that film as it contains Vomit. As a copper of course, you'd be immune to that... ;)

Up in the air. Pretty good. The airport scenes reminded me too much of my life recently, however.

I love you Phillip Morris.

Jim Carrey over-acting less than usual, which is positive. Ewan McGregor mis-cast, I think, but making the best of it.

Mrs B has got to stop making me watch films. She's planning to take me to see Cemetery Junction soon. I think I should be exempt. Why do I need to see the flim? I live here.

300, which was a lot better than I expected, and certainly an improvement on Kingdom of Heaven.  The Persians were a bit orc-like athough Xerxes was a big jessie.

Last night: Abre los ojos (Open Your Eyes)

Frustrating as some of was very good but so much was too slow and too many aspects weren't developed. Overall - worth watching.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Mrs B's choice, as usual. We both liked it, but Mrs B found some of the violence a little shocking, mostly because of its realism. She appreciated the realism, though.

Tried to follow the Swedish, but with very limited success.

Advocate, which stars a sometimes nekid Colin Firth. A little too much excitement for a lady of a certain age and in a delicate condition.

It's much, much better than the American remake, Vanilla Sky:sick:
