Sleeper.
Diane Keaton's still got it, but in the early 70s she was drop-dead gorgeous.

I watched it (whilst on Turbo Trainer) and it (re)confirmed to me that they are all the same.

Seriously I can't spot any difference in any of the films apart from the height of the principle actors.

They should just call it "Harry Potter and the English Actors Pension Fund"

Jonah Hex.

Actually better than Solomon Kane, although the pacing was a bit weird in places and the narrative suffered from stylistic intervention.

I watched 2012 and I absolutely loved it.

I did turn my brain off before I pressed play so as not to ruin my enjoyment.

It's like the Day after Tomorrow meets the Poseidon Adventure meets Independence Day.

Sorry to say (being a hard bloke who eats kittens for breakfast), that I actually enjoyed it!!! It was quite funny and fluffy in a not too serious way!

Right, out to scare some babies  ;D

Zardoz. Period post apocalypse sci-fi hokum, complete with pyschedelia and girly wobbly bits.

Sean Connery for the girls, Charlotte Rampling for the boys. Sean shows a bit more flesh than Charlotte though. Not fair, I thought we were all equal in the future.

Zelig.  An odd, self-indulgent film but still very funny.

Harry Potter and the Cynical Cash-In By Splitting One Of The Shorter Books Into Two Films Because The Producers Realise The Cash Cow Is Running Dry.

...and that's two hours of my life I'll never get back, although Hermione's tardis-like tent is quite good.

Green Zone.  I do like Matt Damon's acting style.

I can never take him absolutely seriously, after watching Team America.  As a reminder...

In the last week, onna plane:
Hairy Potheed and the 2nd last bit (pretty much as you would expect)
Another Year (pretty standard Mike Leigh people deconstruction)
Tron Legacy (ghastly)
Do not clench. It only makes it worse.

Just watched "Outlander".  Man falls from space and then joins up with some vikings to take down something akin to Beowulf.  An interesting concept that the film fails to live up to.  Average.

Hermione's tardis-like tent is quite good.

Is that in the 18 rated version?
It is simpler than it looks.

There were no sequels.

I seem to be going 80's nostalgic at the moment. In the last week:

Mona Lisa

The Long Good Friday ,,,    Cut 'im.....

Close My Eyes,  Clive Owen & Saskia Reeves having an incestous affair, Alan Rickman as the bemused husband.  I remember my then girlfriend complaining that Clive Owens's cock was always discreetly out of shot  :)

There were no sequels.

I know - it would have been brilliant if someone had made one, or maybe even two sequels.  I was watching Inception a while back and thought that it was just a poor attempt at a Matrix sequel - I mean if anyone had made a Matrix sequel it would have been way better than that.

"Harry Brown" quite bleak, violent, but nevertheless enjoyable.
This isn't just a thousand to one shot. This is a professional blood sport. It can happen to you. And it can happen again.

A lot of, but not all (due to the need to hit the sack) of Apocolypto.

Wow.....
