Thats my favorite animated film.
I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that.

Black Sheep.  This is the sort of film I used to watch while getting drunk with mates on a Saturday night.  Translation: no artistic value, lots of laughs (unintended).  The top two tags for this film should be sheeple and zombiepocalypse.

Jar City.  Icelandic crimething.  Not bad at all.

Watched this last night (recorded from BBC last week). I liked it a lot - I've been going off films lately, preferring the 12+ part TV series approach (like Spiral, The Killing, The Wire etc.), just so that they have enough time to tell a nice, complex story.  I felt that this film though managed to get a decent story of grown-up complexity in a 90 minute film without felling stupidly rushed.  Nicely done, though I won't be zooming off to Iceland to sample the cuisine.

I saw Hanna on Friday with my delightful lady friend. We both enjoyed the film, though the plot was a little vague and only really explained near the end, and some of the camera effects reminded me of the odder bits in Dirty Harry. Good soundtrack by Teh Chemical Brothers.

Overall I award it 7/10

Another excellent weekend at Deaffest, culminating in a repeat of the NSFW comedy Hands Solo.

That'll be my film-watching quota for the summer, then.

Does it contain a lot of "sign language"?

That's exactly the sort of humour it's parodying.   ;)

Max Manus
A Norwegian film about the occupation. A hero with PTSD, no easy answers, but an ending happier than I had hoped for.

Pure Country 2.

It was the only film there I could use for background viewing!

Female Agents.

Very good French film: female SOE agents parachuted in to France in the days before D-Day.  Sort of inspired by real events rather than a true story, the main character (played by Sophie Marceau  ) was a real SOE hero.  Mrs Zep enjoyed it even although it is a "war film".

Kill Bill, vol. 1.

In one word: excellent!  It's been ages since I've watched a film and thought "that was fun!".  Yes, OTT and silly in places, but I enjoyed it.
