[Oh and well done to SimonB for beating me by 0.62 miles which is exactly 1km - you know we're audaxers really!]

   O:-)

How do we go about getting AUK points for the 24hr, then? Presumably it's not automatic.

No miles for me.

Bit annoying as it would've been a top-10 finish in my first national event.

Next time I'm calling out my number at every checkpoint.

Hard luck.  Did they explain why not?

Received the results in the post today. They've given me back a loop so I'm now 17th with 425.84mi.

*thinks about Mersey next year*

The earlier you let them know, the easier it will be for them to check. It must be a horribly tedious job checking all the marshals' records on all the laps.

Final result came through with extra lap credited.  Thanks to all that helped.

Sent a message off to validation secretary via the contact us link on the AUK website with details of the 24 AUK riders I could identify in the final result sheet for the Sussex 24 so x-fingers we might get credited with points  :)
