Amazing stuff.  They've sent a clear message out to the French lads.

Glad to see that the Hoys managed to get tickets because I know they were struggling.

Go fast in the qualifiers so they get paired with the weaker teams and have an easier passage to the semis

Houvenagel has just set a new British Record on qualifying, very closely followed by Romero, our girls are 1&2 fastest qualifiers for the final. Nail biting stuff.

I'm all emotional and I haven't even seen it with the sound on (secretly watching it at work).

Well done lads.

I was a little nervous that the track boys and girls may have had too much expectation heaped upon them.

No chance, they are on FIRE!!!

I was thinking that, although being cycling the British media expectation generally isn't that great. Compare Paula Radcliffe. She's had the spotlight on her throughout her career and last time round spectacularly flopped. This time, she's injured but still running. I doubt if she'll get a medal.

Why oh why did I remember that we have a TV in the games room here at work AFTER the final had been run? :(

At least I (just) caught the repeats...

iplayer when you have a chance :)

Slight problem there, for me at any rate (well three problems really):
1) Don't admin rights to my PC, so can't install iPlayer
2) Our proxy is off-shore so can't use iPlayer anyways...
3) I use Linux at home...

1&3 shouldn't matter as long as a flash plugin is installed,

They've stayed at the same level. GB have improved.
