Is Huggy going to the Netherlands on his new bike?

Oops… I keep on seeing these ads on Facebook telling me how lovely they are, so I think of Huggy and how much fun he could be having…

Hello lovely people!

It's been a while since the last event so I was wondering if folks fancied camping at mine on the evening of Friday the 7th of October?

I've a new games room/pub that needs commissioning and it is my birthday a week later so seems fitting.  Owing to the weather since the start of the year when the build started, the games room is called the Four Seasons.  It is complete with a snooker table and pub area so perhaps we have a Black Tie with Pie event - bonus points for having black tie attire.

Pie will be sourced and if I can work out the technology, perhaps some mash as well.  I'll pop to the Maldon Brewing Company and pick up a couple of pins of beer (likely Oscar Wild and Maldon Gold).  If you prefer a particular tipple then also feel free to bring it with you.

Suggest this time you all head straight to mine anytime from 18:00 onwards and the beers start flowing from there.  If you'd like to drop camping stuff in the run-up to the event then that's fine.

A tenner a head would be appreciated towards costs.

If we can get quorum I will get things organised.

This week is The Woolpack beer festival (Chelmsford). There is a CAMRA preview night on Wednesday - I think I still have a membership...  ???

Just putting it in the mix as we didn't reach a conclusion to where we might be...

Oh and Yes to Chief Garden Party (subject to any domestic interference... )

I'd be in for a weekend do Chief! I'll probably be soft and ride my bike home to sleep in my bed, that's how I seem to roll these days!

I'm a 'maybe' for the Woolpack. Depends if I can clear the backlog of validations from the Grand tonight. There's still one brevet outstanding.  ::-)

Happily I've found my Camra card, however the same can't be siad for my currancy card which still hadn't arrived 13days after the replacement was ordered, which has now been replaced by another card, which undoubtably won't make it here before I go away again!

What time tonight?

I’m not out tonight. I’ll be back too late from London to sensibly get across.

Hope your latest trip goes well jiberjaber. I’m sure you’ll be keeping us updated along the way.

Hello chaps. Sorry - but I've decided against it. A bit of Achilles trouble and still some numbness, so I will rest. Hopefully next week.
