Although to most of us wouldn’t consider touring with one of these for an instant and can see no sense in such a setup what so ever I think when considered alongside the massive growth in e-bike sales on the continent it might make more sense.
The best e-bike systems are now achieving 60mile ranges on single batteries and have controllers sophisticated enough to just compensate for the trailer making the bike feel as though unloaded.

I still wouldn’t go near one with a bargepole mind.
