Differences:
BookSansa never marries the sadist, she is still with little finger - Agreed but the main story arc with Stannis army defeated (at least apparently in the book) and Reek escaping is still there.
Sam is in Bravos on his way to Danaeris - I wasn't really counting that as a major story arc.
Aria hasn't killed the knight, she kills a Crow who is renouncing his Crowship - again the order in which she kills people I didn't feel was massively important. I may be wrong on that though - but that story line is clearly not as developed as in the book as she got over the blindness in the last book and 'completed' her training...
Tyrion hasn't met Danaeris, he's outside the city (which is besieged by an army raddled with plague) - yeah well they've completely not done the Yunkai siege of Mereen - what I was getting at was the visitation of the black dragon and her coming across the Dothraki - THAT was more or less with the book - I did say that it had got there by very different means.
They've also entirely done away with the iron born and their dragon horn - though I guess that may yet still make an appearance later in the TV series - it seems kind of crucial plot-wise...
Jamie hasn't go to Dorne - yeah that's different entirely.
Stanis is still alive, freezing in the cold with his army on the way to Winterfell - not so sure - it was kind of implied he'd lost (letter from Bolton Jr - but yeah, maybe not...)
Basically what I was getting at - Ice and Fire-wise (as THAT is the main story arc imo) - is that Jon Snow is killed by the Nights Watch (although the author has been cagey about whether he's actually dead or not - bookwise) and Daenerys and her dragon meeting the Dothraki - done better in the book in my opinion. Also the story in Kings Landing regarding the walk of shame is bang on too - mostly at least.
