The Audax Year
« on: 18 January, 2020, 01:08:50 pm »

I thought the first day of the UK Audax year was 1st of October. Yet looking at my record, an overseas audax done on 30th of September 2019, is showing up on my 2020 results, not my 2019 results?

Is this a bug in the database, or is the first day of the Audax year really 30th September?

Investigating further, it seems I haven't done a ride on 30th of September, but did do one on the 5th of October, that is missing. I think something has been put in the system wrong. Have emailed the recorder for clarification.

All Permanents have an underlying system date set to the last day of the current season - ie, 30th Sep 2020 - and in some circumstances that can show through.  The date you actually rode it would normally take precedence.  If you've got a date of 30th Sep 2019 showing, that is a double bug.  But it'll be easy to fix, it's only a matter of editing a date on an existing record.

It's not a perm tho, it's an overseas BRM.
