I may be there as a "consultant" again this year. Watch this space....
Yup. Saturday for me.

Ah Ha!

Are you a roving consultant or fixed to one stand? I'll be there on Saturday and would like to catch up. I'll ask sensible questions about the "brand", whatever it is, if that will help.   ;D

We're going on Friday. Hoping it will be less crowded than a Saturday when we usually go.

Come back from the trade day. Quite upbeat and well attended. The usual smattering of bonker inventions .

Dreamslide 'bike' entertaining , cyclehoop parking with built in pump, nice to see dawes there .

Oh yeah, and lfgss had a stall.
A shitter and a giggler.

Due to a recent incident I may be unable to go at all. Sorry, chaps, you'll have to provide your own top cover. Unlike my head....

A few highlights:

Cycle Show 2010: the pick of the crop | The Bike Show - a cycling radio show and podcast from Resonance FM

I like the reintroduction of the Pashley Clubman. Also the security options from Infinite.

Quite enjoyed yesterday and did some future-purchase research as well as the usual drooling over bikes I do not need, cannot afford and have no room for.  ;D

Got a bit fed up with some of the staff on the stands treating it as a chance to stand chatting with their colleagues/mates.  >:(

Got Cippo's autograph.

I enjoyed the show today, but it was jam-packed by lunchtime.
I've never seen so many electric bikes in my life.
Someone obviously thinks they're the future.

I'm going tomorrow, I've got free tickets in exchange for helping with the unicycle.uk.com stand. Apparently they've been asked to provide demo unicycles for the commuter and/or MTB test tracks, should be fun ;D

I was there today. Liked the Bianchis. Many fixies in evidence.

When I came out the London Air Ambulance was parked in the car park out the front. Apparently one of the guys doing the BMX demo had a very nasty accident - possible broken back? Don't know anything more, didn't see the incident myself.

Managed to get up there on the free ticket that Ken gave me.  Some nice stuff but most of it didn't interest me.

Spent a decent amount of time drooling over and rubbing my naughties against a couple of Van Nicholas road bikes. :smug:

Good time-lapse of LFGSS's photo wall being put up:

It turned out really well, I thought  :)

I really enjoyed it, spent most of the day trying to convince cyclists how great unicycles are, but also had a look round at the stalls, watched some of the BMX demo, and did some riding on the MTB test track on both unicycles and some rather nice bikes.

The handmade steel/bamboo bikes on the cyclehoop stand were some of my favourites, a bit out of my price range though at £600 to £1000!

I won't be cycling up there.

I think the move to the NEC is a good one, m  and I've suggested it to them on all my feedback for the past 5 years.

Hopefully they'll make it more like the motorbike show with a shopping village and show offers, they'll have the room

The London shows have always been a pain to get to for anyone outside London. The NEC is central and has really good transport links from everywhere , I'll be going, probably on the train.
