OH! I forgot about the ARV....

Obviously H&Ks are required to quell chavs these days (I do know that some would say it's a waste of a bullet, but there you go)  The irony is that if that had happened 5 years or so ago it would have been right outside the Polis station....

Some of my acquaintances didn't look too happy (the people in that black outfits with body armour)

OK, I have destination in mind, anew one to us.

It is 16 flat miles to get there, then another 5 miles back to the nearest train station (for those using public transport to get home).

It does have the advantage of being 5 miles closer to York, for those riding back there :)

It does, however, mean we need to be out of the door at 18:30, to ensure we get there, can have food chips and beer before those needing to get a train need to depart.

So meeting point is THoFC between 18:00 and 18:30 (get here early if you want a coffee)

Hope that works for everyone, let me know if it is an issue and I can maybe work something else out.

Is it a train back from Thirsk?  Just make a difference train ticket-wise....

Yes, I'm a bit gutted actually.  Jobs suck.

I saw your light on the table in the pub last week.

I have found it now, I had put it on charge in the garage then placed a tub on top of it (as I had been looking for the light!).

So now the summer bike has 3 front lights and 2 rear lights, a pump and spare stuff in the Super-C.

Oh and I have "pimped" it, like the other two bikes :)

I won't be out to play this week, since a) boys are home and b) I really might need to get myself sorted for a couple of Silly Bike Adventures.

This week *might* include silly bit of old railway line! :)  I am going to check it out tomorrow.

As discussed last week (on the ride) it is nearly the first birthday of these rides, so 19th April (yes it is a Thursday night) will be a re-run of the very first random night randomride to random pubbe.  In this case it was and will be to The Farmers Arms in Scorton.

More to follow

So is this week going to be just me then? :(

I am sorry to say that it won't include riding along an old railway line, but does have a tiny bit of COR followed by lovely quiet lane that has just been re-tarmacced!

Oh and chips.  And beer.

I can't.  Really can't.  Should be out next week, not the week after.  Then back to the usual.

Don't be downhearted.  I know of at least 3 people who may be interested in coming to join you this week.  Myself, LindaG and tiptop are also very interested in the retarmacced quiet laned loveliness and beer and chpsness of this coming Thursday.  Meet at yours as usual?

Comedy Off Roading.  Traditionally undertaken on Mildly Inappropriate Bikes, such as 20" wheeled folders, 'bents with USS, ridleys with 23mm tyres or a shiny red Dave Yates fixed.
