One of the greatest players of all time, and almost certainly the greatest full back.

A real shock, this.

Edit: according to the BBC website, it was bacterial meningitis that killed him.

So sad.
Yesterday, for no apparent reason, I was humming "Hymns and Arias" to myself
So in the evening I watched Max Boyce singing it. Glory Days for Welsh Rugby.
Then we heard the news about JPR.
