Bars on the Belgian Coast

I'm in Ostend early next month and hoping to hop on the coastal tram to a couple of places, so can anyone recommend any places with a good selection of beers? I know of the superb place in Hotel Marion in Ostend and have ordered the CAMRA guide, but personal recommendations are always good...

Schildia in Knokke-Heist is OK, but not as good as it used to be.

That'll be Belgium.

You can't go wrong with the whole run Zebrugge to De Panne, it is all built for tourists. Tourists who like beer, mostly. Hop off the train anywhere that takes your fancy (there's a lot of bike hire along there, too)

Nobody's asked the obvious question yet... flat or drop?
