Maybe not in the spirit of this thread.....

As a resident of Birmingham, my first thought was that you were showing us a patch of tarmac that nobody had parked a car on.  Then I spotted the filename and looked closer.
http://www.malin.me.uk/misc/n2o.JPG might be easier.

I've been asked for an explanation of what I found. It's a large quantity of empty nitrous oxide cartridges. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Recreational_use_of_nitrous_oxide

You wouldn't happen to know anything about the pristine-looking dead badger on the hill up to Tanworth-in-Arden?  Someone's nicked it...

Quite a long snooze, it was there for two days, then it wasn't.

Or someone inspired by Chris Packham, to set up a carcass cam? I did spot a dead deer yesterday, but a bit too rotten and too big to carry home...

The badger may have been collected by a local badger group if they are in your area and still operating. They do research on the bodies to assess health and check no foul play in its death (I only know about this as used to work with a guy who was a member of a group)

I noticed a poster in our vet's asking people to report dead badgers to a non local number.
Admission.  I'm actually not that fussed about cake.
