From the first Mille Alba in 2012.  Circa 50 finishers and probably the same number given to helpers.

I'm planning to go for this one next season... seems a nice challenge for a nice medal, although the biggest challenge is to find a bloody calendar 300 in Wales!

There will be a couple mid june 2019.
where you have a concentration of power in a few hands, all too frequently men with the mentality of gangsters get control. History has proven that. Power corrupts; absolute power corrupts absolutely.

I stopped collecting medals quite a number of years ago, though the odd trophy still comes my way.  There might be a few rarer ones in the jumble below.

I have 3xPBP finisher awards, 2xLEL, some ACP SR awards, and the Ultra Randonneur trophy. I never bothered much with the smaller ones nor did I order the Brevet 25,000 badge. I think I have an Elenith 25 year anniversary one.

I cherish the rowing trophies I won in 2017 (1) & 2018 (4) more. These arguably took more work despite the races themselves being no more than about 6-7 minutes at worst, because of the amount of training and practice required to reach the required standard to be competitive.

I don't know if these are rare, but they're old. The Eastern Counties Cycling Association one says on the back that it was a 100k in 1992; the Stevenage Start of Summertime would be about the same vintage. The Les Belles d'Europe were a series of rides - not audax - either side of the channel in the years before 1996, I don't think they continued much after. Random 100 / 150 / 200 medals.

Love those little lugs for attaching date bars; both long gone now. If hung from a saddlebag they probably constituted a Health and Safety hazard for some riders as they might get stuck in the spokes...

(or even rear mech!)

my personal favourites are the Tour of 3 Counties and To Battle and Back; events run by that great man who introduced me to Audax, Tim Wainwright
