I love that picture BP, it's a really pretty waterfall, and all the spring green is out, and the sun is shining, and the daffs are still there (although they've nearly turned over), and that bike is the prettiest thing.  I nominate this photo as The First Proper Spring Photo Of 2014.  I mean, look at the sunlight shimmering on those new spring leaves on the trees in the background!

A dainty little thing, hidden away in one of the many old quarries in Tilberthwaite:

Thank you Larry  :)  And PH  :)

It's a pothole called Alum Pot, near Selside in the Dales.  To see that view you either have to climb (using ropes) from the top of the hole, or descend through the Long Churn cave system.

Fantastic!  As are the rest of 'em on flickr.

Which did you do?

Thanks Bill  :)  Long Churn.  I descended Dolly Tub pitch on a rope, and went back up on a caving ladder.

I think we need a forum waterfalls ride at somepoint. Just don't let me organise it or we'll miss them all ;D

 ;D ;D

Or else we could call it the 'dessicated industrial landscapes' ride, and then we'd be sure to see some?

Nah, with a name like that it'd end up at my local ford: -

So far I've managed to miss a whole set of waterfalls and a Tower on foot, and on a group ride I managed to miss Morecambe ;D

And High Force, yet again, looking particularly impressive after a burst of showers which created an enormous amount of spray:
