ACME Summer Social 08/08/21

Oh no, not another ACME thread!

We're having a Summer Social Gathering at our Spiritual Home, the lovely Compasses at Littley Green, near Chelmsford, at lunchtime, 12-2 on Sunday 8th August. A chance to catch up with friends old & new, especially some of the new recruits we've gathered during the last year.  Family, friends & prospective new members also very welcome. Just let me know via pm or email by 01/08/21 & I'll add you to the booking. Maybe make a weekend of ACME cycling with Huggy's R&R 100 & 200km events the previous day?

All current members should have received an invitation, as well as 'Friends of ACME' - I hope I've managed to include everyone!

There will be ACME kit for sale: short & long sleeve jerseys, gilets & mudflaps. Free ACME cloth badge for each new member.

Still time to make a provisional reservation for the social event of the summer!

(Btw, I have the new batch of ACME mudflaps - long version, and reflective ones this time. A superior upgrade at £20.00 per set. Stainless nuts and bolts included.)

 :thumbsup: Mrs Tomsk + Soupy will be there too. Just about to load up the panniers with the ACME shop: various items and sizes of club kit, mudflaps (assorted), plus other odds and ends.

Me too. I've cleaned a number of bicycles this morning, now I don't want to get any of them dirty in this glorious August weather!
