Welland Wonder 2010
« on: 20 September, 2010, 08:22:10 pm »
I did this one without much knowledge of the area and was delighted with it. All the route was quiet, well surfaced and pleasantly rolling........ideal for getting into a rythm and flowing onwards through beautiful villages and  parklands. It was well worth the 120 miles car trip to and from the start. Unspoilt England at its best. I was last one back....but who cares ?Must repeat it next year.

Many thanks to the organiser(Mike Vybrial)

This seemed very hard work this year and I couldn't find a rhythm at all I'm sure Leicestershire is rising.  Good weather though.  The route instructions worked better too even if they were the same as last year.  A little bit of deja vu at the Potting Shed cafe as it was a control on Rutland and beyond last week.
