Well, Lankum was rather good - they're so strong live. False Lankum right through, in order.
Opener was Andy the Doorbum, who was incredibly striking and a really good match. Weird, mind - but wouldn't mind seeing him again.
Lankum back in London soon, Hammersmith in late October, and hints dropped on Sunday about a coming announcement of who the support is going to be (apparently someone they think they should be supporting).
Only a few days separate that from PSB at the Roundhouse, so that'll be busy, and I fancy Bonny Light Horseman there a month later. (Anaïs Mitchell's folk supergroup - good at the Barbican last year, though of course that's a much more formal setting.)
Of the things you mentioned at the National, only have tickets for BFTBS so far, but plan to get last minute cheapies for most of the rest of the season at some point (which is a point, the Brontë thing closes this week).
