Cycled that (not recently)with a foot of water, not easy as the flow of water was pulling the bike sidewards

That's why I used the causeway. I'd been rained on for the preceding 10 hours and I'd had enough of being wet! There looked to be quite a strong flow to it.

No more than 2 at a time on this bridge. There's a bit of a queue building up behind me.
