I like the look of Albion's hi-viz storage vest, but holy crapola, it's HOW MUCH??? I thought the Apidura one was a touch steep, given you can get one from Madison for half that (but I still bought one, because I hate great big flappy things, and it's great).

I don't even know if it would meet the standard required for PBP, for instance.

I'm not sure how they can price this at more than twice what the Apidura one costs, just because it has pockets. I mean, I really like the idea, but...

(Also, I don't think it will do well on those of us who are larger in the chest department.)

Though not sure if any brands make a hi-vis version. I have added extra reflective tags and clip-on lights on mine anyway.

And yes, some brands are rather expensive, but there are a few cheaper options.

Yes, I have a running vest. It has 16l capacity and is hydration bladder compatible, as well as having lots of useful pockets, and it was not as expensive as the Albion one, despite being made by Osprey!

I'm fine with the smaller of the two sizes, even over three layers. There's a lot of adjustment in the fastening. I'm impressed with mine.
