All DIYSE 2017 Brevets now accounted for - or at least as far as I'm aware. :)

Answer on page 2 of this thread in the long post about awards from Mike.

Ditto for the North
AndyC

Southwest: similarly. There are one or two more tracks which may turn up... if they do, they are "out of time" but I will put them up if the system lets me. Not significant for awards.

Especially since recipients are invited to the reunion at AUK's expense
Really?  That's news to us, we have always paid when attending the reunion (as we would expect).

I've received a denial of this as current practise from AUK's Chair, in which case I'm very happy to retract and my work here is done.

News to me also. Have been paid for once when I was given and to my mind inappropriately the merit trophy in 2005 and I figured that was because JJ had died. Since then always paid with no offer of a paid place.

I’ve sent off all the trophy proofs to the suppliers to turn into template documents for their engraving processes.

Once I get them back, and have checked them, I can finally authorise production of the actual trophies :-

My thanks  and apologies  :P to all the many folks I have chased, badgered, bullied and barnstormed with, to get this far, this early...
I’ve decided I’m not old. I’m 25 .....plus shipping and handling.

Cracker Swamp in Florida.

I had planned to ride that, I even pre-registered, but other things came up. Is it correct to say that the spot tracking system fell apart?

I wouldn't know. Instead of riding Cracker Swamp, I was just out of being in traction in a Bangkok hospital.

Actually, I think it was the Cherbourg (or Ouistreham) 1250 ? Ridden in the last week of the season. (Also ridden by Ian Hennessey)

No spot tracking on The Cracker Swamp I rode, was just a good old traditional 1200 where you got on and rode your bike.  The closest to tracking was Timpsie’s tweeting which was hampered by 3G being as rare as hens teeth plus we were distracted by one left fractured clavicle and a humungos haematoma on my thigh cause by a RTA 12 hours before the ride started.  And to the records a Casper the Little White Moulton was unharmed in the RTA.
