Red Arrows

On holiday in Somerset recently, we arrived in Minehead one afternoon, to discover that our visit coincided with a flying display by the Red Arrows, about to take place imminently.  I had no time to think about camera settings or where would be the best vantage point, but I still managed to take a few photos, including these two, with my Canon G11:

I've just taken a pause from my write-up of the HCH 1200 to watch 2 of the Red Arrows training in a perfect blue sky north of Scampton. From my mum's lounge I saw them doing a loop somewhere over Ingham then they came right over the house.
