Yay for seeing lovely first aider.

Sorry to hear walking is safer when you're alone - there's no good words to say to that but I shall pass you a cup of tea and hope you find options which won't ever be as good as solo cycling but may still be good.

So, something fabulous happened today.

For the first time since 28th November 2014 I went for a run.  Well, more like a coughing, wheezing, gut wrenching, muscle ripping mile of excruciating suffering, but I finally conquered my fear of running* and did it!

The Garmin Forerunner 220 bought a year or so back from SojournerMike ( thanks again Mike - much appreciated ) recorded the event for posterity and my friend Martin who lives locally came with me.  We have silly plans to enter a sprint tri next September so I guess that I'll have to run again!

Feels good.  Sorry it 's not cycling but hey, I don't care right now!!!   :D   8)

* More a fear of painful injuries whilst out running due to pavements and potholes jumping up and felling me!

I've often wondered...is Polar Bear related to THE BEAR?
Hard work sometimes pays off in the end, but laziness ALWAYS pays off NOW.
