Someone didn't read the invite properly.

To me it's as if the Wellington has turned up to a Fancy Dress party and just realised it's NOT Fancy Dress.

It was late and I was full of beer.

My mistake.  That's clearly Neil Diamond's Glove On The Rocks.

Kipped out on the fells again, Mardale this time.  Not quite as spectacular as last time, too much cloud, but pretty enough.

Testing out my new Canon S120 "pocket camera".  I got it free 'coz of my Tesco Clubcard voucher habit.

It possibly as good a pocket camera as I'l lever need, very impressed with it.

However despite all it's features I'll probably always have it set to RAW with Aperture Priority and 3-shot exposure bracketing.
That basically guarantees that the image is in there somewhere.

First test shots on a walk this evening.

I really, really, like this.

Good eye Jaded.

As I stare at it I half expect to see someone walk into the room holding a cuppa.

Actually I haven't stared at a photo for as long as I stared at this for quite a while.

I'd try to take a similar photo myself but you seem to have found the world's most perfectly aligned room.

They'd start getting annoyed.  He already went round to ask them to arrange the cushions.

loved this one from a wedding last month, luck meant the parents are dancing on the left and her sis & fiancee are on the right.

then I had a week in the glorious US of A, here's a panorama of half dome:

and just to restore the transatlantic balance, here's a nice English shot from yesterday
