And what about the exterior lights? Two of our neighbours have already got theirs on.

Next Sunday I have just been informed.
I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that.

I ride to work through a council estate.  One house never took down its angel and star from last Christmas.  In fact, judging from Google StreetView, it's permanent.

Personally, I probably wouldn't bother, but my wife likes a tree and decorations so I leave her to it.

Actually, this. If I were left to my own devises I wouldn't bother either. It'll be interesting to see how the new cat behaves when  the tree goes up though.

Bad Cat predictably takes periodic swipes at baubles. We don't have any glass ones left now.

Once knocked off, she gets bored, and LMC makes a racket chasing them around the floor.

Maybe you aren't thinking laterally enough. :demon:

Not yet. Probably on the weekend before Christmas but they're likely to stay up till mid-Feb. No exterior lights.

Tree bought and installed yesterday. Baubles and lights just done now. We always leave it bare for 24 hours to settle in and teh branches to drop before decorating.
I't will be down very soon after new years day.

We don’t have a particular date to put it up. This year it was about an hour ago. It’ll be down before the kids get too settled into school again.
