How can you be rude about Witham, we’ve now got a LiDL complete with in-store bakery!

I'll make my own cold and lonely way to the pub.

Have you been banned from Spa Road?

I've been banned from the whole of Witham, OD.

I accidentally on purpose called Witham, Shitham and for disrespecting the town and it's inhabitants I am now persona non Grata😭

You'll be bivvying outside the "Shitty" limits tonight then or - cycling back to Veganville.

See, I've been banned!

I'm afraid Mrs Tandemaniac won't agree with you about Witham, she says it's got to be better than Holechester  :smug:

Is anyone "normal" going to be riding from the RAB tonight? Considering my options as I'm no where near the speed/endurance of the PBPers and fear it may be too far, too fast and too CORry for me in which case a direct route may better.

I'm afraid you'll have to define "normal", not sure we know anyone of that description.
The COR is hardly COR, it's less than a mile of just off-road, even GS was happy to ride it last time and we all know how grumpy he is about picking mud out of his guards.  You could always continue up the road to go past the Compasses and rejoin later, assuming no in-ride refreshments.
Even the Google car has been this far.

I just love Shithamites, witty, intelligent, wacky and kind😍

Absolutely amazing, considering where they live!

I'm planning to be at the roundabout tonight.  Even with the COR (which was OK last time), and it is only Braintree, so an easy ride back after the social ride and refreshments.

I will be at Spa rd to add to my 12,00 miles and ???? pints this year (so far).

I'll decline to answer the "normal" question unless someone defines normal.

Will probably ride direct.

A sensible choice with limited miles left inyour currently fitted knees - keep the balnce between maintaining the muscles but without excess pain.

It's not that, it's that none of us fit the "normal" description

Given the lack of long term forward planning in teh diary, I have been looking for pubs that we haven't visited, with decent beer.  You can image that is quite a small list :D

How about The Jolly Sailor in Heybridge Basin?  It is good for the easterly fringes with Psyclist is on overseas duties, and 15 miles from Colchester?

The details on what pub are

CM9 4RS

Wednesday   11.00 am - 11.00 pm

Owner
Star (Heineken UK)

So, The Jolly Sailor, Heybridge Basin this Wednesday?  And a good excuse to ascend TMNH?

Excellent, load up with your camping gear, ride TMNH X 10 and bivvy at Heybridge and you'll be ready for Tan Hill

Are the eastern contingency joining the peleton this week, as this was to balance some of the recent weeks?

Seeing as it's still 25km to Spa road from Colchester and TMNH may be involved,  I'll probably miss the Peloton and make my own way.
