Back by popular demand, I thought I'd update this thread.

My current WIP is the Moebius Models Catwoman.

Box shot:

Torso assembled and primed after major surgery to her left shoulder area to get her hand to sit on her hip:

And testing some thinned, strained through a 190 micron mesh paint strainer, black glittery holographic nail polish through the airbrush to try and recreate Julie Newmar's costume:

Crash test spoon primed and airbrushed flat black.

:-\ Glitter is a bit big for airbrushing:

But thinned and strained:

it actually went on quite nicely (albeit at 30psi through the airbrush). Camera hasn't picked up the nice glittery look though:

And here's Julies costume:

 :)

Not quite a shake and bake kit, but I've finally turned this (Mister Craft Hobby Kits 1:24 1950 Alfa Romeo 'Alfetta'):

Into this:

Sh*t*e quality kit (off to the naughty corner for Mister Craft who reboxed an old 1950s SMER kit), but not a bad finish I think... Basic scratch details added in the form of wire mesh for the nose cone, and some spare "alloy" wheels to replace the very crude kit wheels...

Good hands, BrianI. Steady.

Love the finish on the AR.

What's so funny about peace, love and understanding?

A bit of work on the Moebius Models Catwoman:

Primed grey, then a base coat of flat black airbrushed on (which looks grey due to the lighting...)

Then, because she's worth it, a coat of strained Rimmel London Diamond Dust glittery black nail varnish, thinned with lacquer thinners to give the glittery texture on Catwoman's costume:

Then some metallic blue airbrushed on over the top. (Vallejo Model Air Arctic Blue to be precise):

And the final effect, prior to gloss coating:

And she's done!

And next to Batman, I built a while ago.

To get the textured effect on Catwoman's costume, I bought some glittery nail varnish (Cos She's Worth It), strained out the larger bits of glitter, and sprayed it through the airbrush thinned with lacquer thinner.  Then some metallic blue airbrushed over the top.
