A thing I've just discovered. A boat powered by overhead electric supply, like a trolley bus or tram. Occasionally used for ferries and in the past for canal boats.

Impressive! I suppose for the Wembley Exhibition in 1925 it could have been treated as some sort of metaphor for the never-stopping Great British Empire. Now, if it were still there in the same place, it could be a metaphor for the never-stopping success of English football. Erm, couldn't it?
