My left thumb has become really painful and I don’t really know why.
Weeks and weeks back I hurt it pushing a tyre on to a rim and though it was sort after that for a bit but got better until randomly on Sunday it became really sore. The pain seems to be in the thumb itself rather than the joints in my hand.
So can someone recommend me a thumb splint/support I can try for a little while please.

Hiya SG, sorry to read of your travails.
I have a pair of thumb support type mitts that I was given when my rheumatoid arthritis was rampant. They certainly helped to ease the pain, admittedly in the joints, might be worth a try. I'd be happy to send them down to you.
These are they: https://benecaremedical.com/cmc-comfort-splint/ (https://benecaremedical.com/cmc-comfort-splint/)
