Very true. Mind you, I'm hoping it'll be a wee while till I need one of those.

Quite so,,,we all hope for a full innings.
My philosophy results from a sudden & unexpected hospital visit  several years ago involving time on the neurology & cardiac wards.
It frightened the sh$t out of me & when discharged I took the view that I'd finished waiting for anything I wanted that is within financial reach. The future is promised to no-one.
Live long & prosper

Tyres and tubes for my newly built fixed (IRO pewter colour LF hubs with NOS red Mavic MA3s) wheels yesterday and a new sprocket for the same today. Makes the "spare" hoops more expensive than the rest of the bike (Langster) put together....

Inner Tubes.

Is there anything more mundane to buy than inner tubes?

Tracklogs.

Also Chain Reaction let me down badly with some bib-tights I wanted for tomorrow. They only despatched them today. Whatever happened to same day despatch?

A further pair of spd's for the trike.I need the benefit of the upstroke pull on the hills hereabouts because I don't want to change the sprocket to an easy tooth size. This upstroke power can't be well developed using the currently fitted toe clips & straps.
Hopefully I will be posting in the fettling thread tomorrow.
