Hmm. More pastries than cake, a lot of those.

My sister is bake back at the cake trough- manufacturing, rather than eating (I think...)

Anyway, this is great news for those of us who follow her kitchen exploits:

Very nice coconut cake from the supermarket in Conil, Spain. yum-yum.

These looked nice in a rather lovely shop in Seville, but we weren't going to be traipsing around with one of these in 40 degrees heat, thank you very much.

I haven't checked to see if there's an icecream thread, but I think this belongs here in spirit.

That "after" shot appears to show a child either shivering from the cold or bouncing on a sugar high.

It seems really unfair that Whitbread's double sundaes are much bigger than two singles.

The latter!  ;D

Now We Are Eight...

The Curly Wurly Chocolate Bike Cake is a classic design, invented by CrinklyAuntie.  This year I've modified it for the Stoker's cake....

After Eights, since it is a mint-choc cake.

Stars for night riding, which he fancies trying...

And a short wheelbase small-wheeled tandem.  Just like ours :D
