Scrolling through, couldn't find a thread for something like this:

Sunday 22 April. Looking past Berwick church towards the Long Man of Wilmington
Certainly never seen cycling south of Sussex

That's very nice.  It was tanking it down here in Rochdale!

Commiserations. The 'intermittent showers' forecast proved unfounded down here!

Beautiful pic. I hope it was as quiet as that landscape suggests.

It certainly was. The picture was taken about 2 miles from the nearest road - a very quiet spot where we saw less than a handful of other amblers during the walk. It looks really good blown up full size. I must get a print of it at some point.

I feel like Captain Kirk, on a brand new planet every day, a little like King Kong on top of the Empire State

This is my current wallpaper, from Cademuir above Peebles, I love the way the farmer has created a Battenburg Cake !   The road that you can just make out at the bottom is a very nice ride.

No mountains here, but this is a bit like Mr Riggers', in the weird light between rainclouds yesterday on a footpath between Duddenhoe End and Chrishall, in essex.

North of Arlington reservoir, looking back at the South Downs, yesterday Sunday 28th July. At the extreme far right you can just make out the farmer already gathering in hay, wheat possibly.

Took this today, pretty much the first picture I've ever taken that I'm really happy with! (Amazing what owning a real camera, not a phone, can do...)

That's beautiful, Dibdib.

Here's one on the same subject from over two hundred miles away on the North York Moors.  Taken in failing light with failing eyes on the 3 Coasts 600.  Just for the connection!

It looks like that horse is doing dressage. Are you sure it is in Yorkshire?

Some of Lincolnshire is flat

and some of it is not

Those two photos are just a few miles apart, I always enjoy the contrast while riding through the Fens and Wolds.
