To accompany bobb's favourite crisps question let me ask which drink would you choose to have with your crisps.
Mine would be A bottle of Ricci orange juice

Ideally, lemonade in a small bottle with a straw.  Otherwise Pepsi.

Ice cold Dandelion and Burdock, if I am feeling in a sober mood...

If not then a pint of Hopback Summer Lightning or Badger Fursty Ferret

Beer from real ale micro brewery: bottled & cask beers. Buy Welsh beer online.

Actually, that reminds me: a bottle of Tomos Watkins Cwrw Haf.
Gah, I haven't been to Wales for ages. :(

The only trouble with real ales is remembering all the different ones you try.
Wells: bombardier, Marstons: old empire, Green king: IPA & old speckled hen, Black sheep, Hook norton: old hooky, Courage: directors, Adnams: braodside  & Fullers: ESB.  I'm gonna buy a notepad

In the pub, vodka & tonic. At either of my parents' houses, Ben Shaw's yellow lemonade. At home, water or juice or tasty delicious wine.

When we're in the new place you and Tokamak will have to come for a visit bobb... I foresee a long afternoon in the Elm Tree.

I had a pint of Michale Caine in there the other day... and not a lot of people know that.

A pint of Ginger Marble with Kettle Chips salt and vinegar (sea salt and balsamic vinegar to be wanky precise) or sour cream and chive.
It's my usual Wednesday night, post 5-a-side, recovery meal.

Also posted on the other thread.

My staple drink, non-bitty orange juice diluted to about 30%, is excellent with crisps.

That would be most pleasant. I used to live in Cambridge so I must have been to the Elm Tree at some point!

BEER.  Timmy Taylor's Landlord is nice and so is Black Sheep and so was that lovely gold-tinted stuff from the sadly deceased Butterknowle Brewery in Co Durham.

If in Abroad, where the FOREIGNERS come from, then Fat Tire (sic) is a good brew and the Owl Club in Battle Mountain has it on draught, which renders going anywhere else for dinner pointless.
