I have a Vostro of similar spec (although an Intel i5 cpu). It is disappointingly flimsy, and can actually trigger the touchpad if I pick it up one handed on just one side of the machine, it bends so much.
I would recommend you go and fondle one in store if you can.
I use a Lenovo Thinkpad x270 for work, which is nicely robust and can be picked up second hand in good condition from ebay. If I was getting another laptop now, that is what I'd buy rather than the Dell. Just watch out for the specs of the one you're getting if you go that route, as different sellers machines can vary a lot.
