Chiropracty on the NHS

As a follow on to this thread, is there any experience of chiropracty on the NHS.

I have occaisional back problems - not associated with cycling per se, as far as I can tell - which are generally resolved by a couple of visits to a Chiropractor (its the nearest thing to an instant cure I know). It strikes me as exactly the sort of treatment which should be available on the NHS as it represents the difference between being a chairbound invalid to a fully functioning member of society in nothing flat.

Sadly, my experience is that it generally takes a couple of days to get to see my GP and then weeks/months for any further referral which is frankly useless. As it happens I'll be seeing my GP in a couple of weeks and will have a word then.
